Age is just a number…..or is it?

Low-T

As we age, everything breaks down.

We do our best to stall, cheat or slow down the aging process using various options, from taking oral supplements, eating a healthy diet, applying daily topical creams and lotions to paying for expensive cosmetic surgery procedures.

What if you could do more to slow, or even reverse, the aging process? What if you could have more effective results by addressing your age progression at a cellular level?

We already know that testosterone is a key hormone for sexual, cognitive and bodily growth and development of males during puberty. We also know that testosterone levels naturally decline with age and that low levels of testosterone can lead to mood disturbances, a decline in sex drive, and a decrease in muscle and bone strength.

But low testosterone (“low-T”) is just one component of the aging process. One of the hallmarks of aging is the slow and atypical regeneration of tissue caused by deterioration in how stem and supporting cells function.

What if you could address low-T as well as the deterioration of your body’s natural healing cells? What if you could do this at the same time in a healthy way, without surgery, without downtime?

When you were younger, a scratch on the skin healed relatively fast, almost before the band-aid was removed. As you got older, simple things like scratches took longer to heal. This is the result of the gradual decline of normal cell turnover as we continue to age.

Recent studies have indicated that the amount of stem cells that circulate through the bloodstream is a primary factor in all health and healing. It makes sense that the body’s ability to heal can correlate to the population of certain types of stem cells circulating within your body.

Current research shows that the release of stem cells in your body drops to almost half by the time you reach 35. After age 50, your body is producing only half of the stem cells that it used to produce. By age 65, you are only producing about 10-20% of stem cells that you used to generate when you were younger.

Stem cells are packets of pure potential. These are the building blocks from which the body can generate what it needs to repair, regenerate and to heal. When your bloodstream has an abundant flow of adult stem cells, these cells can reach every organ and have the potential to become whatever type of cell is needed to maintain the health of each organ.

Like all cells, stem cell aging is determined partly by the accumulation of damage over time. Stem cells must change their properties throughout life to match the changing growth and regeneration demands of tissues. As our body ages, stem cell function declines. This can leave your body un-repaired in some areas, as the available stem cells are devoted to healing the areas that need the most attention.

Current research studies indicate that regenerative medicine – specifically, the use of stem cell therapies – can demonstrably slow the effect of aging. Imagine that your body had an abundant supply of stem cells to use to help:

Increase energy and stamina

Reduce fatigue

Improve muscle strength

Improve your mood and mental acuity

Reduce pain and stiffness in your joints

Slow the effects of other degenerative conditions

At Denver Regenerative Medicine, we apply the latest clinical research in stem cell therapies to help each patient achieve the best outcomes in their individualized treatment. Stem cell treatment used in conjunction with testosterone therapy can help accelerate and accentuate the effects of your body’s natural healing abilities. We also offer P-shots to treat ED!
